What is the Flame of Shame?
The Flame of Shame was created to publically list those who dare plagiarize our member's works. It is a way for us to fight back without the costly expense of seeking legal representation (think of it as a bad check tacked to the wall of a grocery store) Luckily, it seems to work rather well!

Upon discovery of plagiarized content, you as the webmaster will contact the guilty party with a warning notice to remove all of the copied material within 48 hours or face public shame and possible reporting to your ISP as well as any other web-based affiliations you may have whose terms-of-use prohibit associating with copyright violators! If the guilty party does not comply with your warning that is when we step in. It is at this time we will post the offenders information and it will remain here until said offender removes all copyrighted material from their site.

Yes...stealing even meta tags or html is a form of copyright infringement as they are in fixed tangible form and recorded. Info we will use in our FOS pages may or may not include: Your name and web address.

So, unless you want to see your website on the FOS pages when someone goes searching for it , we'd suggest you do the right thing...and do your own thing.
